Hired Gun League, need help!

So there is a Hired Guns league at my LGS starting in April.

I am planning on running Imperials, as they are my favorite faction.

Need some advice with putting together an Imp list with Scum Hired Gun.

Does anyone have any ideas for a semi competitive to competitive list?

Below are the rules for the league.

*Squad pts are 100

*Each week you are NOT required to play the same faction

*You MUST include in your squad ONE Unique Pilot from Scum faction as your Hired Gun. Just so its clear there is no clear benefit if you're playing just scum.

*This means you can fly the scum counterpart of a ship over its normal pilots for that faction.

As a new player, I'm always looking for all the help I can get but...............

Maybe give the folks here something to work with? If you present a list that you think is good, then everyone will gladly give you their opinions on how to tweak it or what its weak spots might be. Likewise, without knowing what is sitting in your hangar, pretty hard to be much help. So, whacha wanta fly ;)

Coming up with a list that has some synergy to it is what has me stumped, each faction has it's own unique flying style.

As far as what's in my current inventory. I have multiples of every Empire and Scum ship available...and I do mean multiples.

So here's a question to get the ball rolling - If you were to choose BOSSK as your Scum named pilot, could you put Palpatine on him? Because if so, that's your first move.

This sort of answers my questions but also makes me much less excited about this league format - so you're limited to Y-Wings, Z-95s, Firesprays and the HWK? (what did I miss?)

Torkhil + Whisper make a good combo. Whisper needs to move last, Torkhil makes sure of that.

Palob with a couple Black Sq + Opportunist wingmen?

Many rebel/empire builds would benefit from having Torkil/Palob or Manaroo, so that's a start.

Bumpmaster or Wolfboat would make a fine addition to any heavy-hitting squad, also.

Scum Y-Wings are better than Rebel Y-Wings, sans stressbot, another point of interest.

But it's hard to pin-point one thing without some pointers. Choose a normal squad you'd like to improve on and it should be easier to fit your hired gun in.

Wish I could put Palp on Bossk, that would be amazing.

I was thinking of Bossk as the Hired Gun with Calculation, Manger Cannon, Dengar, and possibly K4 Security Droid.

Or Manaroo, Palob, and some Ties.
