I'm not sure how this should be handledbut it came up the other day. Your ships tokens ect were in a bit of a jumble and a dial accidently got changed to a different maneuver then what I picked. How should this be handled?

You should use the maneuver on the dial.
If there are two possible maneuvers showing then your opponent gets to pick which one to have set.
If the maneuver chosen (even if it was by the opponent picking between two) is illegal (red and you have Stress) then you give the dial to your opponent who can set it to any legal maneuver.
If your opponent has a bleeding heart and feels really sorry for you he may set the dial to the maneuver most advantageous to you if allowed to do so. What you should expect is that your opponent's maneuver choice will put you at some severe disadvantage and may even cause the ship to flee the battle.
Changing dials "accidentally" should be hard to do. Generally, once set you should just leave them alone and if you want to look at it make sure to inform your opponent before doing so.
Edited by StevenOMy VCX-100 dial is super loose, which is weird for being brand new. Even squishing the nubs as hard as I could, it won't tighten up. It made for some amusing moments the other night when we were playing.

I use a plastic mallet to 'persuade' the rivet to tighten up. Hasn't failed yet.

My friend has a super loose dial on the Ghost too. We both tried to tighten it down but it didn't change
He's at the System Open now with it, so I'll have to ask him when he comes back what he did to fix it.
After reading posts about this, I have made a habit of checking my dials before I play a game.
I know there will be manufacturing variances, but with the noticeable differences on dials, pegs, and bases, I'm wondering if quality has slipped in production.
Perhaps that is part of why there was so much delay in Wave 8 shipment.
