The low attack lineup leaves a lot to be desired, and without Mist Stance (or the ability to run Crawling Stance), it will lack the damage output, but it's certainly unexpected from him. On the ropes between swapping Tandoya for Steel Slicer (one less damage, no stun but has a +1M block).

With Mitsu pump, 5L8, 6L5, 5L6, 4L9 (throw) and 5L5 (pump comes before continuous) seems like a nice lineup, don't you agree?

no more crappy theme decks that suck Al :P

It's cute, an All Low attack deck.

However, why not actually kick All up a notch? I know All looks similar to Fire, but hey, if Paul P and Steve can front it better than Fire, why can't Mitsu? I'd say apply similar principles.

That, or how about a blast from the past.

Remember Mitsurugi from Flash of the Blades? Yeah, the one that used Ivy's support?

Why not do that? Use Ivy's weenie attacks n' just boost the **** out of them?

Ivy support worth running in Mitsurugi = Genius Alchemist + Ice Coffin of the Sleeping Ancient, and that will only be of good use using Seal, Razor's Bite or Lowdown Neb. Or Wrath of Heaven if you don't mind starting the turn with it and boosting the next attack's speed by 6.

I sort of like the attack lineup in the deck, if only because it has 1 punch, 1 kick, 1 throw, 1 weapon and 1 ranged... lol

Can Raging Gnome be pumped via Mitsurugi if it's played as the 1st/2nd/3rd/4th attack? It says it can't recieve damage bonuses...

Since the floating effect by Mitsu is active, when Raging Gnome is played you can choose to resolve Mitsu before the continuous effect on Gnome.

Thus, a 3L5 that can't receive any more damage bonuses. Still nice for a 3 diff, if you remember Clones :)

I think the weenie lineup could work just fine for mitsu, cross maddness, evil sparrow, howling spirits, pommel smash. Maybe throw in some other mid or high zone for some tech or card filter.

I'm just thinking of how it would be a lot more consistent to have attacks of the same zone being pumped with Mitsu. Since Mist Stance is not in the build, it can be either zone. I tend to favor off-zone attacks if I can help it, since any block blocks mid attacks.

I COULD make a high-attack Mitsu, but that's exactly what everyone and their mom are building.

I dunno about you guys, but Fire seems to have a slightly more palatable Low attack lineup than All . Fire Shadow , Execution Technique First Rite , and Leg Slash are all solid, and Tandoya gets to stay (plus, Steel Slicer ain't all bad). I'd give Fire a shot.
