Talents and Party Talents Recharging

By Kaptain O, in WFRP Rules Questions

When you Exhaust a Talent or party Talent you turn it face down and put 4 tokens on it and then for a personal talent you remove a token at the end of each of your turns until they are all gone. What about a Party Talent when do you remove recharge tokens from it? End of each round? End of each players turn? End of each turn for the player that used the Talent?

Also can you only use a talent on your own turn?

I would say the token is removed at the end of the turn that that player that used the party talent goes, just as if it was their talent that was used.

That's what I did, but my point is the rules don't say do they?

If it does, I haven't found it. We've just been doing it at the end of the round, that way we don't have to remember who used it - one less thing happy.gif

I played it happens on the player that used it but it was a pain to remember. When you have npc's that share an action they can all use it recharges on each of their turns which is why I threw that out there as an option.

Incorrect. With NPCs/creatures you only remove a recharge counter from a shared ability at the end of each round.

I let each player remove one. Hence the benifit of putting it on the party sheet - fast recharge. Seemed fine to me as most talents aren't amazing.

I don't have the book handy, so no page number, but it's one token on each player's turn. It even specifically says that the quick recharging is an advantage of party talents.

I also don't have the book at work with me but I'm pretty sure it says that they recharge faster because all party members can spend fortune points to remove counters. It doesnt actually mention removing tokens at the end of any turn =(

Old thread, just to make sure for people like me, who search for clarifications:

In the FAQ it is clearly stated, that talents on the party sheet lose recharge tokens at the end of a round. (plus optional fortune points)
