I've noticed that we are unable to edit posts after a certain amount of time has passed.

You can however, edit your Original Post (thread starter) if you post a reply in the thread -- how long of an edit window...? I don't know.

Quite annoying in my opinion. Is there a reason the edit system is designed like this?
