A quick question about temporary insanity....when you have to add tracking tokens to a temporary insanity card when distressed or strained.....do the tracking tokens simply make the temporary insanity last longer or do they add to the difficulty of being able to cure the temporary insanity or both?

The tokens are for when you roll to see if it becomes permanent or not.

The severity is for when it's later treated.

At least, that's the way I'm reading it.
