Not sure if this is the correct place for such a post but I didn't find information about it anywhere else.
I'm a new member on FFG site and forums but a long time RPG player, having played for over 20 years, since the Classic D&D.
Straight to the point: Whatever happened to the Midnight Campaign Setting? There is not any kind of information anywhere on the site. I take it they have discontinued the product completely; but if so, a little page dedicated to it would be something to expect, after all, it was a product that had good success and many fans.
I see they are making a new Warhammer RPG now, although taking a very exotic approach to it, a little mix of board game and RPG it seemed to me; with heavy use of gaming utilities such as minis, cards, etc. I was never a fan of the Warhammer RPG system (1st or 2nd ed), always found it a little broken, (specially with the combat rules where the attack and defense are independent from each other; that is, as long as the defendant gets his roll the attack is a miss, no matter how high your attack skill is); but the setting is awesome. But that is not the point, I only touched the subject because I was wondering if there were plans to make a new Midnight game. Maybe following the same line of making an independent game system, apart from D20 or D&D 4th ed (but not card/board game it). It would be very welcome, I'd love it; FFG are great RPG designers. Is there any news on the matter? Anyone knows?
Onto another topic, they make A Game of Thrones board game and the cardgame (although I never played, I've seen it and read about it and liked it; I'm just not a fan of board/card games); why does the Got RPG still with GreenRonin (GR)? As RPG designers FFG is a lot more to my taste, never liked any GR product (just personal taste). Are there any plans for FFG to take over GoT RPG?
.....The same above for the Dragon Age RPG ... The game is awesome, and they are coming out with the Pen n Paper version through GR... again.. just sayin' you know... could be FFG .....
just thinking out loud..
