I am going to be in afghanistan around the beginning of next year and was wondering if there are any rogue trader players there?

Good luck with that.

No offense, but I find it very unlikely that you will be able to schedule a gaming group while you are there. There will be down time, but finding enough people who can get together like that is pretty difficult.

However if you are assigned to one of the flight teams, medical teams, ETT or at one of the smaller FOBs, yeah, you probably wont hav a lot of time, but should be able to get a game in here and there, provided you have players.

When I was in Gazni back in 06 there was a D&D group and when I was recently in Afghanistan (this past winter) some of the infantry guys brought D&D with them (I brought Dark Heresy of course). I never got a chance to play anything, was a bit too busy.

But I do recall seeing guys in the KAF MWR playing the day before I flew back home.
