clues

i am using all expansions. The last two games I have played, the old one awoke because we ran out of clue tokens. My understanding is that the old one awakes if you run out of anything. Can somoen confirm that this is supposed to be what happens.

I'm pretty sure that doesn't happen with clues, only with monsters or gates. And I have to ask, what the hell were you saving the clues for? :)

Wow! I've ran out twice in 96 games (both since adding IH incidentally).

But no, GOO doesn't wake up when you run out of anything. It'll wake up if:

"1. Doom Track is Full

2. Too Many Gates Open

3. No Gate Markers

4. No Monsters in the Cup

5. Terror Level 10 and Too Many
Monsters" (p. 20)

Expansions add a couple of new ways to wake it up, runnig out of Corruption cards and DOR track. And you have a couple of items that the player's can use to wake it.
