I'm looking for 3 or 4 simple pencil sketches of a couple of scenes for the new scenario I'm making. It's an introductory scenario that I'm writing. Once it's done, I'll likely hold it till a scenario contest pops up (that shouldn't be long).
This is just 3 or 4 small panels to add some visuals in the scenario, nothing elaborate (unless you want). It will be mostly landscape type things.
If you're interested, contact me via PM and we'll hook up. You'll get full credit in the scenario credits.
Excerpt from Foundation for Vengeance
“The nor-wind comes with the dawn and is early this year. It brings with it the promise of chill to overcome the muggy fall heat. The nights are cooling. The harvest celebrations bring villagers wrapped in thick wool shawls and heavy cotton shirts, but the days are still hot and bright and heavy with the moisture of the sea. You awaken at the cock’s crow, the sun still a promise in the sky. The smell of breakfast wafts through the room, laden with the scent of the hearth. In the other room you can hear utensils clinking and pots clunking as the breaking of the nights fast is prepared. You drift back into a peaceful sleep and when you awaken again there are already squeals of children playing on the heather dunes, drifting though your windows like the tinkling of chimes.”
Our story begins in the pastoral village of Brunhoffer on northern outskirts of the Nordland, by the Sea of Claws. It is a small fishing community and so insignificant as to escape the notice of all but the most astute Imperial Cartographers. There has been tragedy here in the past, as in any small Empire village, these things are quickly forgotten during times of bounty and peace. Life on the coast of the Sea of Claws can be harsh, but no so these days. There have been no Northman raids in years and the forests have been quite. Rumors of war seep in from other parts of the Empire, but remote the village of Brunhoffer is self sufficient and rarely pays heed to such rumblings. It’s easy to forget how dangerous the world is and be lulled into false security. Their agrestic lives are about to be disrupted.
