Looks like both Vol. 2 of the Haarlock Legacy Trilogy and Ascension are on the upcoming list now, along with some new details.
Vindicare assassin as a Career, very interesting indeed.

WOOOOT!
Dark Heresy just keeps getting better and better! Hopefully we get some options to become a Mechanicus Magos.
Oh my god, Greater Daemons... I seriously want to see stats for Avatar of Horned Darkness.
Uuumm nom, crusader....
So, lets start guessing and wishlisting: what more Ascended Careers could the book contain? We´ve got confirmed Inquisition Stormtroopers, Crusaders and Vindicare Assasins (my reaction on the last one: WTF???)
I think it would also feature Inquisition Wardens, Primaris Psykers, Archmagi, Explicators and Integorrators... any other wild guesses?
I can't find Ascension... Mind handing out a link?
Nevermind. Found it.
Shouldn't Vindicare Assassins be a lot, and I mean a lot more powerful than normal human characters? Both gamewise and fluffwise the Temple Assassins are more powerful than Space Marines, so shouldn't they be available only for Deathwatch power level?
Unless it's another retcon to make Marines uberleetawesomepwnzors?

They are still human though. It's just that this sci-fi setting there are things such as synthetic musclegrafts, bionics and psychoconditioned skills. The stuff all temple assassins are subjected to before they are considered to be "done" and fit for action.
Also, if we're talking ascension here, then the human characters will most likely already have reached superhuman levels in skill and ability.
There will be an Inquisitor career path. Probably some kind of really large Alternate Rank with many options. Perhaps even customizable by Ordo.

*girly squeal of joy*
I'm very excited.

Still, they are at the very least at the Marine tier of power. So why be able to play them and not Marines?
The mention of Vindicaire Assassin did suprise me somewhat. It is always dangerous using the table top game as a source but I have used a Vindicaire Assassin in my table top games and their power level is well above a normal Marine.

Depends on whether or not FFG are making Ascension forward-compatible. If it covers everything up to Deathwatch-equivalent characters, then they don't need to make a new version when Deathwatch comes out (whenever that may be).
From a marketing perspective, I think it makes perfect sense to have Ascension characters usable with Deathwatch. My fiance, for example, doesn't want to play a Space Marine. It would be awesome to have a normal human character get to that level of power, either through actual play or via Throne Agent careers. I think FFG knows this. If they didn't, they do now.
I'm guessing we'll be seeing these books somewhere around 2035 if the current release pattern keeps up

Aww, come on, let's not get snippy here shall we? While no one can say they are big fans of delays, I think we can all agree that even if FFG just stopped releasing material for Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader alltogether, the books that have been released would still have enough juice and inspiration in them to fuel campaigns for years to come (at least in my case, and I play almost once every week which is a pretty tight interval from what I've heard since other groups often cannot come together and play for weeks and sometimes months at a time).
Not that I would like to have RT and DH discontinued of course, it's just that I think we have pretty much on our plates already, so screaming for more and crack witticisms about delays of future installments would be a little... Well, greedy, don't you agree?
I must confess that I'm not displeased with the release rate. My group is pretty far behind (just finished Purge the Unclean) and we have a hard time planning sessions.
I do love the products and I hope to be buying them for years to come. Can't wait to learn what else will be coming out in the future.
