Hello Dark Heresy fans!
This week, I have some thoughts about the nature of Radicalism for my designer diary. Enjoy!
Also, please don't forget that there's only a few more days left to enter the 2009 Dark Heresy Adventure Contest!

I know, stop stressing me will you!
You can expect my contribution to arrive at the very last minute. I've been procrastinating all the writing bits so far and have spent the month trying to think and figure out everything. Today im going to have to read A LOT of the currently published material to make sure that my scenario goes along with the canon (I like to make an effort in insuring that), and then im gonna have to type until my fingers bleed.

nothing to do with the subject but i think animation in other countries than the USA are few to non existent. so why is such like this? i will be delight to participate in the contest but to write on novel wil take me too much time in english. maybe next year after all. just remenber please that we also play across the world.

Well I lived in Versailles for 3 years and it seems that Dark Heresy has a huge following in France, even ended up having a few french guys in my gaming group who all too it very seriously. Seems that that responsibility of having a french senario or shortstory contest would land on the frech publisher, not on FFG. There where by the way about a year ago a demo game at the local store in Versailles where the company community rep was wearing a really cool dark heresy hoodie geif ![]()

i don't talk about the players i know that the game is popular. on event is not more than a few so for me it still a valid opinion. and i speack about animatio, eevents and so on...scenario in english why not but it will be more difficult. scenario in french for french speacking people and not only for french people shoul come from ffg and not the local editor who can relay the scenarion event. i hope i have been clearer.
But as far as I understand it the french edition is done under lisence, FFG has nothing to do with it beyond writing the original source material that is then translated into french and then approed by GW's Q&A department, in otherwords, not to be rude, but wrong forum.

i don't know if it is the wrong forum but their is no offense as far as i am concern. i just think that ffg could be at te origine of event and then give the word to the local editor who obviously does nothing so far. so maybe the local editor will do something one day but now they need an impulse from ffg.
Moving back to the original post, the most exciting part about the diary, for me, is mention of Dark Cites right at the end. This must be the first time it's been officially mentioned in a long time, so I'd imagine we're looking at a 3 month or so wait.
Glad it's on it's way but looks like I'll have to write to Father Christmas for something differant this year.

I'd speculate 6 months on the outside end of things. And despite what some might say, I would still like to see a collected copy of the Haarlock's Legacy stuff after all three have been released.
