Just thought to drop by and point out that fading suns shards (short adventures) are great, heavy on roleplaying and with little work (as FS is sort of a cousin to 40k) can be converted either to RT or even some sort of DH scenarios.

I am currently reading Kraken's Loom and can not help but think how it would function in RT.

I own the Fading Suns sourcebooks for unexplored worlds beyond Known Space (Star Crusade I & II). I'm already planning to introduce a couple of the more appropriate ones into my RT campaign at some point.

Several other background elements from Fading Suns would survive transplanting to the 40K setting as well.

Now I'm going to have to tear apart my garage looking for Faded Suns. I can't remember much of it, but remember it was pretty cool and it came in a boxed set...

That was back when I was young and single and pretty much every game was $15-20 bucks. I pretty much bought anything that had halfway decent cover art.

Some of the aliens could be easily transplanted as well. I agree that the Star Crusade book could be great sources for ideas.
