WFRP3 Character Sheet (Updated)

By Shadowspawn2, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

After my wife tried to make a character on the little character character sheets included in the game, I decided to make something that is a little easier to write on and not so darned tiny.

I don't know enough about the game yet to know how well the organization works, so its definitely a work in progress as I learn the game.

Amazing work.

Good job indeed !

But there are a few typos.

And "nationality" feels too modern... Maybe Origin ? Realm ?

Again, nice job !

First fanmade character sheet - w00t!

Very nice sir - thank you.

Mind if I post this on Geekdo along with my tools (I'll be sure and credit you)?

Let me clean it up a bit and fix any spelling errors (point them out please), I've been at this all day and my eyes are tired!

Page 2:

Complettion should be Completion

Speciality should be Specialty

I think that's all the spelling errors.

One of the points of the character sheet layout is that when they are folded in half they form a book. You might want to rearrange some of the fields where, if you fold the sheet in half, the main character sheet (with the diamonds) is on the front and the equipment sheet is on the back.

This would mean page 1 has the equipment sheet on the left, and the diamonds sheet on the right. It would look strange when open, but it would be great when folded. Maybe make 2 versions?

The fatigue & stress on the official character sheet are near the characteristics they effect which is good layout & I think you should try to get them there.

It is possible to have 3 talents slotted & again putting them to the side, as on the career summaries, seems the best place - though you may just be using that space for noting what you have. Players will also require some space to label what type of talents they are actually allowed.

Good job!

Nice - I may well use this as well

Thanks for the suggests (and catching the typos). I'll look at how to implement these. I never considered the folding issues, I thought of this more as a traditional character sheet for us old farts that resist change. sorpresa.gif

Charactrestics should read characteristics.

I've got an update to this sheet coming soon. I will most likely release it tonight or tomorrow.

Okay, new sheet should be up.

Recommendations:

1. make the Fatigue and stress boxes bigger/longer for tracking with pen/magic-tape/eraser.

2. Make it form-fillable (if you have Adobe Acrobat Pro). If you don't have it, I do and could set up the fields quickly (like I did to the official one already).

jh

I don't have Acrobat I'm afraid. I'll see about making those boxes larger.

Okay, made those boxes larger and fixed a couple of errors. Should be pretty solid now.

Looking good. Now we'll have to give them a try. I'm thinking that "background" and stuff can go on back (if single sheet). I'd also consider putting the career plug-in "tabs" on the side (since there's no reason other than that to have the career cards out..and susceptible to coke damage). I'm sure we'll think of even more stuff as we go :)

Jh

I thought about putting them on the side, but with the Fatigue and Stress areas on the left side, having tabs on the right side would severely eat into the space where you write things like abilities and specialisations. Weapons and Armor would also need to be truncated as well, which was the reason I made the sheet in the first place.. those were way too small on the stock sheet.

Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks a lot man

and for all your hard work the character sheet looks pretty awesome.

thanks again

Looks awesome but sadly I'm seeking a sheet where I can edit the fields. Hopefully there will be one soon.

My writing is terrible and most of us play with Laptops so having digital copies is awesome :)

Hopefully someone here will do just that. My group and I decided WFRP3 wasn't for us.. we gave it the old college try.. so I'll most likely not be making any further updates.

Glad I could at least provide a sheet.

If you want to give me (or someone) the abandoned work files I probably can get it form fillable. So if it's no problem let's make this for the community! ^__^

I have to admit that I would really like the "blue prints" for a personal use as I would like to see it in a portrait position.
