I can wait for Amazon to get around to shipping it even if they dink around as long I get the instant satisfaction of snapping up a retail box. I love my FLGS, but they're a no discount place and it's like handing those guys $40 just for the joy of paying them tax too.

To be on topic: I'm buying the game at my local shop because I want to support them, and Amazon.ca doesn't sell games.

I would absolutely have purchased my game at my local Hobby store...that is, if they would have run the intro adventure or seemed to give a rip about 3e. They're too busy running Magic card games to care about WFRP.

So, I bought the core set from Amazon.com

But, I did place an order for the Adventurer's kit from Myriad Games in Vermont, half way across the country for me, because the owner there runs an awesome shop and there's no sales tax! If you haven't done so, check out their website and listen and watch some of their podcasts...seems like a great place.

My only worry is that it will sell out before I can afford to buy the set.
