hi ya and welcome to the forum and the game (from uk lol) right, we will need a bit more info to help you but, line of sight is quite straitforward really, just use the coloured circles that a character is standing on, if each oposing character are on the same colour or combination of colours then each has line of sight.
i.e. mr.a is on a blue and yellow circle, mr b is on a red and blue circle, so each has los..ok

well i say from france in each of my post because english is not my native tongue. beyond that i realise that i shoul have been more precise. on the map they are object. i wonder if depending on the nature of the object their heigth count or not. i mean by does the lines of sigth are abstract or logic is more important.
Hi!
Just check the colored circles. Nothing else matters regarding los.
dont worry about objects on the path, if there is a height or any type of path restriction it will be noted on the miniature/object, but usually nothing

many thanks.
another question it seem that the differents team are not so well balanced. i mean the "germans" are sigthly better than the other. is their a way to balanced it? officaly or not.
ah they are more well balanced than at first you may think, the union have grenades and smoke bombs, they will prove very usefull!!

Yes, come up with new tactics with the weapons.
When Tannhauser was owned by "take on you" (a french company) they had tournaments (or something similar to it) results were posted online. Union won majority of the time.
So if anything, Union is slightly better

I basically agree with the other posters. The Reich is easier to play, especially for beginners, but the Union makes up for their lack of brute force with tactical flexibility. Both sides are quite well balanced once you learn how to use them. I haven't had a chance to play with the Matriarchy yet, but I haven't heard too many horror stories about them being broken.
And yes, the beauty of the Pathfinder system is that it explicitly tells you where you do or don't have Line of Sight. Any circle that shares the same colour as the one your figure is standing on can be seen. The height of objects on the map is accounted for in that if you can't see past something then the circles on the other side will be a different colour.
