Okay, Warlock Quests ending saw its first action today. Ironically perhaps, the Warlock himself was in the game. List of quests at the start of the game:
Warlock: Travel to City, Travel to Tavern, Discard 2 Gold, Discard 1 Weapon
Wizard: Kill 1 Monster, Kill 1 Enemy, Discard 1 Spell, Gain 1 Strength
Leprechaun: Discard a 7-point Trophy, Give 1 Gold to a Character, Visit the Enchantress, Gain 1 Craft
The ending card states that you don't get any reward for completing the first three quests (no teleport back to the cave, no Talisman). Warlock went to the Oasis and drew a Sword on the first turn, scratch one quest. His other card was the Lake of Visions, so he swapped the Tavern quest for Visit the Alchemist. When he dropped back down, he drew 2 Gold, scratch second quest. As he had picked up the Teleport from the Demigod, next turn saw him hit the City, scratch third quest and then visited the Alchemist, turning a Talisman he had gotten from the Temple to Gold, then teleporting back to the Cave and getting a Talisman. That seemed okay.
But later, the Wizard, who immediately of course passed his discard Spell quest, met a Yeti (Enemy - Monster) and despite being saddled with the Jester, managed to defeat it. Does it count for both quests? Or is there meant to be 1 "trigger" per quest? Didn't matter in the end as the Wizard killed a Goblin soon after.
Warlock of course won the game, with 5 completed quests, 5th was thanks to a Path of Destiny Spell by the Wizard. Which is another questionable Spell at the moment, as it only states cast on a character who doesn't have a quest, not differentiating between completed and uncompleted. Spell deck went over half-way, even with the Demigod reshuffling it (though fairly early).
). 12 of 13 Warlock Quests complete wasn't a bad tally overall. Leprechaun could've hit the Warlock's Cave to look for an easier Quest, but he didn't have the stats to head for the Crown. Warlock finished with Str 7, Craft 16 in 60 minutes.
? Reaper offers Lord of the Pit, but people with base + Frostmarch?
