About "pool" and "places" in general.

By iena, in Talisman Rules Questions

Gens,

I know this topic is already discussed into the official FAQ but for me some interpretation problem still exist.

The FAQ say that a player can interact with the pool of life and other similar as soon the player draws the place's card.

Is this true for every "place" card or only for the "pools" and similar?

Can't think of any card that you don't interact with when you draw it, barring multiple draw spaces where you could draw cards that when resolved in the encounter number order might move you to another space or end your turn early (stand-off or loss in combat). Some offer a choice with "may" in whether you want to take the Magic Portal (for example) or not, but you still interact with it (if you don't go through, guess you just looked at it for a while).

"You drew, you deal with it" is a good rule of thumb.
