The pre-release event for UFS Set 14: Quest of Souls is this weekend: November 20th-22nd! Here to present the final two spoilers for Set 14 is developer James Hata.

Hope you guys are looking forward to the upcoming pre-release for Set 14 this weekend. This will be the last spoiler before then, so lets get started!

Today we will be unveiling two of the characters in this set, Taki and Yoshimitsu.

Taki revolves around generating blank foundations, whether if its transforming normal foundations into blank foundations or turning attacks into blank foundations. Her abilities really work well with her support, some of which interacts with blank foundations directly. Overall, between her ability to remove threats from the board and her ability to turn attacks into resources, Taki is definitely a very powerful character!

Yoshimitsu is an interesting blend between hand control and direct burn. By using Yoshimitsu’s enhance during each of your attacks, you force your opponent to choose to block the oncoming attack or lose cards out of his hand. If your opponent chooses to not block your attack and let the damage go through, Yoshimitsu can then directly burn your opponent’s vitality equal to the number of cards he discarded. In either scenario, your opponent loses cards out of his hand!
