adventures

By HoloDante, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

hi!

as things are now, i am going to gm 2 groups in 3rd edition. my plans were that 1 group could play the adventures and campaigns ffg releases, but i do not really know what i am supposed to do with the other group. i have only marginal experience with the warhammer universe, and i do not own any books yet. so my questions would be:

do you have any suggestions on good adventures/campaigns from older editions of warhammer?

and: will the whole world be covered in the core set (historical background, map, leaders, ....) or is this going to be released in modules or something like that? if so, can you suggest any good rpg modules/adventures so i can get a good feel for the world?

greets

alex

The Empire Within is of course a recommendation from 1st edition, and the Paths of the Damned were an enjoyable series for me.

If you're looking to be creative, I recommend starting a campaign in the Border Princes using Renegade Crowns from second edition - becuase there's very little lore about the princes, you can make up pretty much what you like, and there are enough forces around that you can improvise various foes/factions without too much difficulty
