Sheet and card protectors..your suggestions here please

By Emirikol, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I'm going to get my players some sheet/card protectors. Inevitably we're going to spill something and also loose cards really arent' necessary :)

Below is what I was thinking for the character sheet and the career card (or whatever). Any other suggestions?

That's a great idea. Where did you get those odd size 1/2 protectors? I'm going to use dragon shield clear protectors for the cards, provided the size is right. For the half card size (like wounds) I'm not sure what I'll use.

You can check the base website, but the google search terms are photo album sheets or pages. The one shown from the main site (shorten up the web address) is a half-page from a coin-collector site, but any film store should have half-page ones. www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~wwcoins/images/2pocket.jpg

They are a good idea alternatively for the character cards you can Laminate them with the plastic seal style of thing, provided they arent too thick. It is likely a bit more expensive initially than the pockets, but it means they can be handled and used just like the uncovered thing.

Here you can get ones that are designed for A4 size reasonably cheaply and the pockets come in boxes of 100. I did that for the World of Warcraft Boardgame ones and with a bit of trimming they work quite well and being plastic are completly water proof (though I havent tested leaving them in water for an extended period), they do wipe up nicely from popular split fizzy drinks.
