My current gaming group is small. It's so small, it can hardly be called a "group". It's just me and one other player. For those of you who are familiar with the new WFRP, do you think the game mechanics are suited for play with one PC? I'm not sure, with party sheets and the like, if this game is especially ill suited for play with only one player.
Suitable for 1 GM and 1 Player Character?
I've been wondering the same thing since the fun over the weekend. My 'group' is me and my wife until the kids learn to read...
I keep going back and forth on it. My current thought is that I would GM, my wife would have her main PC and a 'lackey' that she also controls. The PC would be maintained over the course of a larger adventure and the assistant could be swapped in and out [think allies in Runebound] as the case presents itself. I would also be liberal in my use of NPCs and write the adventure to support that style of gameplay.
As of right this second. Knowing that I only have two guaranteed people at any one point I am still planning on purchasing it.

Ha! Luckily, my player is my wife!
After running the playtest, I'd say that it would be excellent for one player and one GM. You wouldn't need the party sheet unless th eplayer was running two or more characters.

Haha! I laugh every time I watch that. It reminds me of the quote:
"The hardest part about having a girlfriend is convincing her that she's your girlfriend."
I see no reason why this game can't be played 1 on 1. You might ditch the party sheet, unless she's schizophrenic.
Edit: Bwhaha - I never saw the second one - "Helloooo ladies"
I am thinking about using this to play with my son. I would GM. Seems like the lack of bookkeeping and everything laid out in front of you will make this game a perfect first RPG! I am thinking about having him play one character and I will play his sidekick as an NPC. That would get us two 'heroes' in the party. One thing that I am really hoping for is that FFG comes out with a campaign. I would love to play this, but really dont' have the time or skills to create one myself.
