The format for all stores was to group people up in 8 or 9 people pods, then play three rounds of swiss in your pod.

Then after that they took the top 2 from each pod (we had five pods) plus two wild cards with the next highest records (MOV tie break) and put them in the 12 person champs pod and all the rest went into a consolation pod. The top 12 pod were ranked by there first three games results and pitted 1st vs 12th, then 2nd vs 1th, ect.... I was one of the wild cards I believe and faced off against the 2nd best player... That was my Redline match that I went on to win 100-0. After the second three rounds of swiss they determined the final results.

That sounds painfully complicated.
