Until an MC80 or Raider deals 2 damage to each of those 3 life TIE fighters and in 1.5 activations you're down up to 128 points.
It'd be fun to try but without some serious forethought to positioning any well-backed ship is going to be a hot knife to your butter.
The problem with running only TIE Fighters/Interceptors is that with the proliferation of 2-hit anti squadron options many of those squadrons will die in a single activation. It's an easy 100+ points to grab and even 16 TIE fighters is probably going to have difficulty killing most ships on average rolls.

Its complete and utter madness and for that very reason i love it ![]()
I've faced 12 ties in a swarm before running off 2 x ISD I's it was very nasty indeed.....
just out of curiosity i did some rolling... 9-10 hits per roll (i rolled in groups of 8 for ease) not to be sniffed at
Give it a try then come back and tell us how it went. You'll want to keep ships and fighters together and in the same arc of your enemy as much as possible.

Very bad. You've no way to command your squadrons - are they there only to die?
Tried it last night on vassel.
I actually won 7-3
I was against a MC80 2 whales and a mc30 truth is i flew very badly, i just can't seem to fly raiders at all and i failed to play the activations correctly several times which was very frustrating.
i lost 3 raiders and 6 ties in total and managed to kill 1 whale and thankfully last turn his other whale with Dodonna flew off the table. So in reality it was a 5 5 if that hadn't happened.
control of the ties was a problem but i just tried to put them where his ships would finish their turn. It worked every other turn but obviously couldn't have been better with squad acts.......
The fact my mate was **** scared of all the fighters made me chuckle a lot lol he kind of got blinkered to them at some points
I certainly thinking dropping two TIEs and putting Rhymer in would be a much better option that would make the list alot more efficient and scary

first turn took a squad token on all ships 2nd turn 14 activates wrecked a corvette
I took the corvette that was the most wanted ship i chose ran away with the corvettes and ozzel after i took it won by 40-50 points lost a few ties

FYI, unless I'm missing something, this puts you a couple points overbudget on your squadrons.

I concur. According to Warlords, you're 2 points over the 134 allowed. Drop 1 TIE fighter and you'll have 6 points to put on the Raiders.
