-I can play in more than one Regional tournament?
-Can I play in the Canada Regional (Montreal), if I'm from the US, since it's the closest one to me? (upstate NY)
Yes and Yes.
Regionals, Nationals, Words... They're all technically open to anyone who can pre-registered, attend and play.
I believe as well, that a Win at a Regionals/Nationals gets you a Guaranteed Position at Worlds should you wish to claim it. But that may just be Nationals. I'm not 100% on what I've been reading between 2015, 2016 and future 2017 rules...
Worlds certainly has Guaranteed Positions open to winners of the Nationals, whenever and wherever those are.
