Ghostinator Store Champs build

Have my first store champs coming up and will be running this piece I've put together. I posted it before and got shredded so we'll try again lol

The idea is that Chopper will be flying in close, most of the time you will keep Roark nearby. I've found that most opponents go for Chopper first UNTILL they realise he's getting PS 12 during combat from Roark. So they'll change direction and chase him. Use chopper to block and blindside them with either r1 5 primaries in front of you bump the corrector auto turret at the end. The other part kicker is they'll be trying to arc dodge and get behind asteroids thinking you don't want to land on them.... SUPRISE M@@@@@@ER *Dexter pun

Dash is on board as crew and doesn't care for asteroids. My opponent tonight literally said "f that I'm getting an f'ing ghost." It's still a one trick pony on the R1 side of things but is very rewarding if you can keep the, there. As they chase down Roark to get rid of PS 12 boost you will be able to ion them too. Ram chopper in deal stress and fire away 90% of the time. Intel agent hasn't done too much for me yet so I might change that to something else like Nien Nunb but we'll see. The Ghost will always die with this build but it MUST damage the opponents ships to the point that when the phantom pops out, it is too strong for them to deal with late game. I sure you can figure the Ellusive combo on Ezra out.

I entered a very similar list into my store champs a couple weeks ago and took 5th over all using kanan instead of chopper, but in EVERY game, Roark startled my opponents who, as you pointed out, went for the ghost first and then realized roark was boosting it to PS12 for combat... har har har

Question - Does Ezra's ability and Elusiveness work together? Both are used at the same point when defending, so, what? You make sure you are not stressed when going into the round, and then since both cards are done at the same time you pick the order, so you pick elusive to force a die reroll, and then since you become stressed when you go onto part two, you can then turn up to two focus rolls to evades?

My experience with Ezra though, only having 2 def dice, his ability really wasn't all that great....

Seems like a lot of points invested in Ezra who is spending most of the game docked. I think you could get more outta PLT and Hera on Ezra and save 6 points. Then find a better use for those (if nothing else drop an EU on Chopper).

Yeah my opponents all did that too. So I try to use the fact it only has to be within Range 3 of the ghost to my advantage.

Chopper will die its just a matter of how long untill and has he done enough damage for you.

Yeah, so. When you're opponent rolls attack dice but before modifying you make them re roll one and stress yourself ready to commit to your defense rolls and essentially free focus. Then next turn you perform green move get a focus from Kyle and if it's the right move do a target lock. Everybody knows target locks w/ focus is the bomb lol. Otherwise if you want to stay out of arc barrel roll over with your focus. Then rinse repeat. The other one I would like to try is rage. 2 turns of stress but each green move you'll get a focus anyway. But we'll see.

Dash on this build is fantastic. For example I had 3 X T-70's Flying V formation at the ghost head on until Chopper did a 5 K-Turn INTO their R1. my opponent said something of the lines of "agh, you just landed on the asteroid. So no shooting" I laughed and said. I have Dash! They read card and had a surprised look. They freaked out scatter and tried to boost out. But Poe bumped out of arc so no shooting for either but Poe took stress and the other 2 had me out side arc with one in R1 it was beautiful. I won that game lol

This is true I'm just concerned about the action economy. If here's there it means yes you have more freedom of movement but if you white or red turn. You're staying stress for no actions. Maybe I'm not seeing it right I dunno lol but late game Strong Ezra can seriously prove too much for the other person to handle.

Hopefully you still have Roark in the game and if you pile the two in for an attack between ion shots and Ezra having auto focus and focus/tl each round with dorsal turret you should put up a strong fight.

Im considering this now for the attack shuttle,, with Hera on board with Roark.
