Doom and smoke grenade

By Niodun, in Tannhauser

Hello fello gamers. I'm new to the game and the forum and have a couple of questions. After playing the game twice there are two things that have been a bit confusing.

First question: When you make a combat roll do you use your opponents combat value with or without the combat value bonus from weapons?

We have chosen to use the combat value without the weapons bonus.

Second question: What are the rules when firing Doom into a smoke filled path? This is when Karl Zermann himself does not stand in the smoke filled path.

If these questions have been asked and awnsered erlier please point me in the right direction.

when you make a combat roll your using, to attack the modified number i.e if it gives you an extra wound if you score a 10 for an example, not sure completly what you mean so hope that helps

doom doesnt get effected by the smoke

and welcome to the game and the forum mate,

if this isnt what you wanted ill answer again...... happy.gif

Does the opponent suffer from the smokes effect i.e. My difficulty score for the combat roll will be the the targets combat value minus the effect from the smoke?

Thx for the quick awnser :)

The way I see it, if you're being attacked having a gun will not help you. So if your gun gives you +1 CV it represents greater accuracy.

For the second, only people in smoke function at a lower level. Kind of weird, but that's how the rules work right now.

Thank you guys for the help!

As i see it there are a few problems with the rules, but i guess as long as you are consistant it does'nt really matter. I just wanted some feedback.

Even with the unclearatys it's still a great game thought :)

Peace brothers :D

glad you are enjoying it mate, it is a great game eh
