For me it's either, palob, latts or tycho, just for the shinnanagans, though pretty much every scum list I build now seems to have attanni mind link in it

For the empire its TIE Bombers and Omega Leader, although I can see not running for the Inquisitor.

Rebel and scum builds vary wildly.

Can make a Scum list without taking Guri. And now Palob is becoming a must have as well.

And always seem to need a or 3 FCS Blue Squadron B-Wing in my rebel lists.

The fabulous whitewashed Astral bison seems to make it into most of my lists atm. However I do like mixing it up a lot.

I've not run an Imperial list without Omega Leader in it since Omega Leader came out. OL's awesome. A real staple of my listbuilding.

For me it has to be the Z-95 - simple, cheap and effective. Now better with missile that work.

Biggs. In the last two months I played maybe five games without him, three of them in a 65-point event.

I just can not imagine a situation in which my opponent can choose which ship he wants to target. It's so scary! What if he kills a ship that I want to keep alive?!

Wes Janson with stressbot, VI and IA. I've taken out so many aces with him thanks to the token stripping and stress combination that I can't imagine him not being in any Rebel list I create.

Can't get 'nuff o dem.

I don't have anything that I HAVE to fly. I like to change things up more than often. The game gets boring with just the same ships on the table.

I know I'm sick of seeing particular ships across the table from me. I get tired of seeing the same old, same old all the time. The biggest ship? Soontir Fel. God, I'm just sick of seeing him. Same build in almost every imperial list. *yawn* Poe is coming in a close second, but doesn't have the YEARS of Soontir that I'm sick of.

I do have things like to fly often. Tie Bombers are my top favorite. They are just so versatile and fun! Also, everyone thinks they suck, so beating people with them is an extra bonus. I should build a list with just one Bomber at some point.

I also like Col. Vessery and always have. With the new fixes, I'm sure I'll see a lot more of him on the table. I have opponents who just hate him so much that they gun for him first every time.

I also love Tie Fighters. I've loved them since Wave 1. They are just awesome ships that can do so much. Backstabber is probably the best Tie Fighter pilot ever made.

I played with various lists involving Soontir for well over 130 straight tournament games.I think Omega Leader is better for the points, otherwise Soontir is the best 34 pts (yes with Targeting Computer...not stealth device) in the game. I don't know how many times I've heard my opponents groan..."Dammit, where is Soontir going?" It's worth it just to hear them say that every game.

For me it depends on the faction as I've been flying all 3 lately

Imperials: Vessery with /D and ion

Scum: Xizor

My preffered generic is Green Squadron, and even more with the guidance chips.
Speaking of named pilots, my love goes to Keyan (any verions of it, either with PtL and/or Advanced sensors, Stay on Target and FCS...)

I love using high speed ships (mainly A-wing and Defender).
