Kavil with 5 Red Dice

Just got the Ghost, and I plan on getting the Jumpmaster soon. What do you think of this list?

Kavil [Dorsal Turret, Unhinged Astromech, Expose] (32)

Talonbane Cobra [Glitterstim, Stealth Device] (33)

Contracted Scout [Plasma Torpedoes, Extra Munitions, Boba Fett, Expose, Guidance Chips] (35)

expose is primary weapon only. better off trying opportunist instead. use cobra to strip tokens until he dies, then aggressive blocking w/ the scout when the tubes are empty.

I guess I should say what my idea here was.

Kavil:

"When attacking a ship outside your firing arc, roll 1 additional attack die."

Dorsal Turret:

"Attack: Attack 1 ship (even a ship outside your firing arc). If the target of this attack is at Range 1, roll 1 additional attack die. Attack value: 2. Range: 1-2."

Expose:

"Action: Until the end of the round, increase your primary weapon value by 1 and decrease your agility value by 1."

So if Kavil shoots with his Dorsal Turret outside of his firing arc at range 1, after having used the expose action, he rolls 5 red dice.

Read Expose more carefully :P

Its STILL Terrible!

Your build works with Opportunist. If they have no tokens take a stress to roll an extra attack die.

Expose works for some pilots. Chirpy for instance.

As AnsibleTheta says,, Opportunist is your best bet. It allows you to Target Lock or Focus to modify your attack as well, without losing your limited Agility value.

Personally, I still prefer Autoblaster Turret with Predator and Engine Upgrade.

Ive done kavil 5 red dice since most wanted droped now im adding Missiles for more devastation

Meh.

Predator + engine is BETTER for the same points (expose + EI). Even on a ship with 0 agility, Expose is still questionable at best...

I ran this with Jax instead of Soontir. Jax can push through a little more damage than Soontir so I choose him. I also took MoffJerjerrod instead of Mara to avoid any really crappy crits. Last thing I didn't do but would consider is replacing rebel captive with Isard. Isard would keep RAC alive a little longer so expose can push through more damage. However with Isard you would have to be careful to EI of of Isard instead of EI of of your first action.

Definitely a fun list though not sure its really relevant in wave 8 meta.

EI/opportunist?

I would change the Plasma Torpedoes to Protons on the Scout to have a better shot of using Boba.

There's always Opportunist for those who want to see the world littered with red dice!

But more does not actually mean better, even with blaster turret and aggromech it's still not that epic v_v

Kavil will suck if he gathers some stress. Better give Palob the Dorsal and Wingman, maybe the Cloak Device (instead of MC), that should keep him in R1 to Kavil so he can clear stress that blocks the necessary Focus action. Also, Palob is like a Scum Version of Biggs, he draws fire like crazy.
