Dengar Bossk build

Trying to throw together a list to fly Dengar in Jumpmaster with Bossk in the YV-666. My question is will it be competitive enough to last and do real damage.

Your real issue is damage

You only put out 6 reds and without that 180 degree arc having an engine upgrade or even maneuvering fins, you are likely not going to be able to use all your dice every turn. Especially not with any degree of focus fire, and that’s a real problem with a 2 ship build.

I have tried to run Dengar with the title before, and I just can’t get behind paying the extra 12 points. Which makes the ship near useless without being a U-Boat, meaning I don’t even really take the ship. I like its maneuverability, and I think it has potential, but I have rarely got the Dengar Pilot skill to trigger in the few games I played him. I like the K4 on him, and Agromech is one of my fave’s, I just think he is too pricey for what he is.

Bossk is good, I see the wired synergy there, but I’d rather have engine upgrade than an extra shield on him. If your opponent is flying rings around you that extra one hit point isn’t going to make much of a difference if you can never fire back. I also greatly dislike Gonk. You either play him as the FaceBook Response from Frank states; meaning you can only use one of Gonk’s actions once per turn, or you use him like the card reads with Experimental Interface to get a shield regen once per turn but at the cost of two actions, five points and one stress (which fits into your synergy kinda but isn’t very economical in a two ship build).

Outlaw tech isn’t bad, but Merc CoP isn’t going to add much to your hitting power. Maybe with Greedo, Zuckuss and Boba it’d have a better chance, frees up 3 points for something somewhere else too.

Your real issue is damage

You've never faced Dengar I take it. Dengar hands out damage like candy at a parade.

I'd trade merc. co-pilot and Gonk for R5-P8 on Dengar and Boba Fett on Bossk. Then trade out the shield upgrade for engine upgrade on Bossk. It makes him a lot more mobile and alarmingly fast. I'm not sure about Wired on Bossk with Outlaw Tech. You are getting a focus anyway. I'd go with VI on Bossk. That way you are both at PS 9.

R4 Agro and K4 SecDroid are counter-productive. Also, PTL without Unhinged limits Dengar a lot.

Wired and Outlaw Tech are also counter-productive. And there's barely any synergy between the 3 crew on the YV-666, which should be exploited.

I'm also gonna disagree on Boba, who acts directly against what Bossk is trying to accomplish. With that said:

Dengar misses EU, but what can you do...

EU and RecSpec do clash hard on the YV-666. Other than that, you have a pretty accurate Bossk, with an ability-inducing mechanic going on (and you want that on a 2-ship list to increase damage output).

Not my favorite version, but that one would include Dengar as crew, so...

Boba gives you options on Bossk. Do I push one more damage through, or kick the Emperor out of the **** shuttle?
