In memory and support of terror victims

By Cununculus, in X-Wing Off-Topic

Last week aquaintences of mine lost colleagues in the attack on the airport on Brussels and several sustained heavy injuries. Two other aquaintances were relleased from hospital after being treated for a nasty amount of cuts from glas, debris, and possible bomb material.

In the same week a juvenile blew himself up during de price awarding ceremony of a football tournament for kids in Afghanistan.

Less then two days ago another attack took place at a childrens playground in Pakistan.

In both instances many children were killed.

The number of people thinking killing children is something to gain respect and be rewarded in their view of paradise is astonishing. Targeting innocents has nothing to with righteousness or religion.

Several newspapers tell young people radicalize because they feel frustrated and unaccepted by society. Though there is truth in this I just can't see how an attacker can see this this as a justification to go on a killing spree. It is egocentric and despiccable.

My thoughts go out to all victims of terror attacks, their families and their friends, anywhere in the world.

I know these fanatics aren't very likely to read this, but I had to get this of my chest.

Thanks for reading.

Amen. Be strong and support your people.
