Talent errata requests

By Reaper Steve, in WFRP Rules Questions

A few issues to address, please:

1) p.14, right column, 4th paragraph under the Fortune Points heading, the last sentence reads: "When a talent card is exhausted, a number of tracking tokens equal to its recharge rating are placed on the card."

I think that sentence needs to be be changed to match the second sentence in the third paragraph (which is a section specifically on Talents) on p.20, which reads: "When a talent card is exhausted, the talent is placed face down a four tracking tokens are placed on the card." I looked at all the talent cards in the core set and none of them have individual recharge ratings listed. Therefore, "recharge rating" doesn't exist as a talent card trait --only action cards have it.

2) The Exhausted Talent example in the blue box on p.20 is incorrect. It shows the Roadwarden exhausting Silver Tongue, but that talent is not one that requires exhausting. Silver Tongue is a passive benefit that is always active.

3) The three ways to recharge talents and action cards (that I can find) are: 1) remove one token at the end of your turn, 2) remove one token for every fortune point you spend, and 3) remove one token in a Rally Step. I assume--but can't find anywhere--that everything completely recharges at the end of an encounter or act, right?

Thanks... I'm going to start other threads on other issues warranting clarification.

This was a helpful post and I hope we hear soemthing from FFG on this issue. I was just about to post the same question. Anyhow thanks for the clarification for me.

Are you sure you can remove one recharge token from a talent card at the end of your turn? I think, if I understand and read well, that it applies only to action cards.

I presume that everything recharge automatically at the end of an encounter, except if the PC doesn't have time to recover a few minutes (Which, in this case, will include one or more rally step).

Good catch Steve.
