What do you think? If not, would it be cumbersome to have to enter our dice roles into the app as we play?
Should the Road to Legend App handle dice roles?
I, for one, do not want it to. I have not purchased nor downloaded any of FFG's apps (X-Wing, Imperial Assault, etc.) that handle dice rolls.
To me, the game is not a game, unless I am the one rolling physical dice.
I suspect that there will be no need to enter dice rolls into the app, as it won't even be configured to deal with that - in other words, that won't be the purpose of the app, nor even a part of it.
I thought the app is supposed to replace the Overlord player? Would it not then need to be "aware" of what we role on the dice?
While no one is absolutely certain what all the app will actually address, many of us feel by its description that it will work similar to how the 3 existing co-ops work. Those just provide cards which control what monsters do, etc. It is still the players that are rolling dice, moving the monsters (in some cases there are two or more options that are equally valid and the heroes are allowed to choose which one best suits them), etc.
For that and other reasons, I stated above that I doubt that the app will have anything to do with dice rolling.
Ah, well that makes sense.
There is a screen shot where it asks if the roll was a success or a fail.
Your dice seem to be safe.

Yeah... Would be strange to play without dices... I own some games/apps for my mobil and on some gaming consoles too... But I almost never play them, because they don't feel like a real boardgame without you rolling your dice or having real boards in front of you... they just don't make as much fun that way.
No dice, no fun.
