As a new player to Armada, and purely a Rebel player, I'm slowly working my way through the Rebel Admirals. I started with Dodonna, moved on to Garm and took Mon Mothma to a three game Store Championship recently. But since getting into the game I've wanted to try Rieekan. Maybe it's the 'Star Wars zombies' thing (I actually quite liked Death Troopers by Joe Schreiber!)... Anyway on to the list.

Fleet created with Armada Warlords
I wanted something that utilised the smaller ships available to Rebel fleets. in my recent tournament I took a couple of CR90's and did very badly with them. I'm assuming that it was down to my flying and deployment rather than any inherent problems with the ship itself so I'm going to spend my next few games working to improve this! I've used 'Yavaris' and Raymus together before and love the impact that double tapping bombers can have on squadrons and ships alike and feel comfortable flying it so decided to add it in for both comfort as well as the boost it can give to my named squadrons. I've given the CR90 the 'Tantive' title as I'm going to try and use it as more of a support ship, holding it at the back of the fleet to provide tokens to the other ships as well as protect Rieekan. I'll be relying on the Mc30's as the 'heavy hitters' in the fleet hence the titles for a little more longevity. I'm hoping that the squadrons and 'Yavaris' can handle any enemy squadrons before turning their guns on the enemy ships. I've hopefully chosen objectives that tie in with my fleet should I lose initiative, objectives that assist flanking (Superior Positions and Hyperspace Assault) and make use of my bombers (Precision Strike).
Anyone run a list like this with any success before? Does any of what I'm rambling on about make any sense? Am I way off on my Objective choices? I'd love some advice or constructive criticism... I'm hopefully rolling this out for a game tomorrow night. If it's way off I'm back to my Mc80 and two Mc30 build! ![]()
