Somehow I have ZERO connection to those through the video games and see no design space for the AVENGER nor any desire to see the model. I would prefer the missile boat over the gunboat BIG time. If I want a starfighting lambda I'll just put EU on the ones I already have!

I think we have another epic ship due soon and a scum vet pack. The wave 9 will probably be a announced later to tie into the movie and probably be heavy t-65 xwing related since that's the main ship of the new rogue one movie.

I'm unsure what EU ships they will pull now because we are starting to go deep into EU now (the h6 bomber is the only armada ship that fits the size we are missing) for ideas. I still think epic has a lot more potential.

Historically, it varies. Wave 6 was announced well before Wave 5 hit stores, 8 was announced shortly before 7 did(right?). Conversely, Wave 7 was announced a couple months after Wave 6 hit, and there was a pretty sizable gap between the release of Wave 3 and the announcement of Wave 4. That said the gaps have been trending smaller so we'll see.

Count me in the group that is perfectly fine if they don't announce a thing for awhile. These spoilers months and months ahead of release really dampen the excitement for me. I think I would be much more willing to go out and buy something if I didn't know every component 6-8 months ahead of time.

I thought Wave 8 was listed as 1Q 2016. Granted it came out towards the end of the time frame but still on time. I don't expect a Wave 9 teaser until May at the earliest.

Will not wait to Gencon to announce, because they like to have a product to sell at Gencon. So announcing a major release now would probably fit in with a release for sale at Gencon, based on production and shipping times.

Remember, they sold Decimators and Outriders at GenCon before they were fully released. Same thing could happen with Veterans.

They always do a soft release of whatever is in the pipe, and then a wide release in the following weeks. Expect more of the same.
