How about we just call the TIE Phantom the TIE Phantom and the Attack Shuttle, the Pre Nerf Phantom.

We could stick with the theme and call The Ghost the Mystery Machine and the Phantom Scrapy Doo.

TBH...I'm 30 years old and I don't fully understand what racial group it's supposed to represent (though I can guess I suppose), other than secret government agents.

Back on topic, I struggle with the nomenclature now, as well. I don't watch Rebels, but I don't think anyone calls it "attack shuttle" outside of the x-wing community. Conversely, the TIE Phantom, better and rightfully known as Phantom, is stuck in my head and probably won't get pushed out. So I think I'm going to have this issue for a while.
