I already let FFG know, but my phantom Attack Shuttle, was missing the little plastic piece attack to the bottom so I could insert a pin into it. I opened it an that's how it was.
Has anyone else seen this problem or is it just my dumb luck?
Thanks

This happened once to me with a TIE found inside of Core set. FFG quickly replaced it after I contacted them.
Stuff like this happens. After I opened the box to my Gozanti Assault Carrier I discovered that one of the two stand pegs was missing the little triangular bit that fits into the ship, so there was no way to attach that stand peg to the Gozanti. I took a picture and contacted FFG and they sent me a replacement stand peg for my Gozanti about a week later.
Yeah! I have used them before, so I know there good. I was just wondering if it a defect or a one off issue.
Yeah, had the same problem with my second Firespray. FFG replaced it within a couple weeks.
My only worry is will Asmode continue the FFG great customer service?

I hope so. Fantasy Flight's customer service has always been great in the past.
I too am waiting on a few replacements and wondering if Asmodee is going to be as awesome as FFG.
I wonder though, what will we do if Asmodee drops the ball? I know the old requisition form had a disclaimer saying FFG would not replace parts under certain circumstances, accidental breakage, normal wear, loss... but then you email them and they sent whatever you were asking for anyways. Asmodee has the same disclaimer but we shall see if they are as lenient I suppose.
Oh and for the record, my Mist Hunter came out of the box with very visible gaps in the body and there was a big blob of paint on the cockpit screen. I had to scrape it away with a hobby knife, but I repaint everything anyways so it wasn't that big a deal. The mounting peg broke off the body last night so I had to magnetize that too.
You know it's not so much that we need replacements for things like this, I think most hobbyists can repair their ships just fine, but that's not what we're paying for here is it? I can handle gluing a peg or two here and there, after a lot of use (Vader is up next for peg repair, who were the other Tie Adv pilots again?) but I had only flown the G1-A twice! That's a maximum of 4 times I handled that ship before it's peg did the dodo! Not cool at all.
So I think that if Asmodee tightens up the seemingly free reign FFG CS reps have had in the past then I think we ought to hold them to make sure the ships don't need replacing in the first place. As of yet it remains to be seen whether or not Asmodee will continue the tradition laid forth by FFG in providing impeccable customer service. And if in fact Asmodee does have a new policy for replacement parts or components then it ought to be up to them to improve quality within the established overhead, ie no price hikes for better quality!
My Phantom's only defect is in the cloak/decloak mechanic.
But FFGs otherwise stellar Customer Service won't help me.
Oh, you meant the Attack Shuttle.
The one on my Attack Shuttle popped off when I tried to put it on the stand. Not my first time ship so I know I wasn't using too much pressure or anything. Debating if I should contact FFG or not. Its a clean break and should be an easy fix. Still its the point of it all.
I just started on X-wing a couple of weeks ago.
My Misthunter came with the peg broken off before I got it out the pack. I glued it on though and it seems ok now.
My biggest problem seems to be ships pointing in the wrong direction. One of the Z-95s in the Most Wanted pack is slightly off center but the Rebel Z-95 is pointing at 45 degrees - it is facing the line of its firing arc. I photo'd it and I'm awaiting a response. Too soon yet to expect a reply - but I'll let you know how this customer service treats me.

That's pretty easy.
'Remove Phantom from stand peg' = cloaked
'Reattach Phantom to stand peg' = decloaked
Don't you mean "My Scrappy Doo has a defect"?
The phantom is an imperial ship.
The little rebel thing that poops out of the ghost?
you mean.....Casper?
