IF two cards are dealt as damage then I believe you would look at each face-up individually using Dodonna's ability. (You'd pull four and choose one, then pull four and choose the second.)

This would be the only critical effect you'd be allowed. You wouldn't ADD two more face-up cards.

You resolve damage cards one at a time. Dodonna is not limited in number of times he can trigger.

Dodonna is extremely widely applicable. He applies any time your opponent is dealt a face up card, which means he applies to asteroids damage, minefield damage, APT crits, and twice for XX-9's.

And I'm sure it was mentioned above (but I am without Sleep or Coffee).

Make sure you preserve the integrity of the Damage Deck... You execute Dodonna twice - that is, Draw 4 Cards, Hand them to your opponent, let them choose 1, discard the other three... Twice.

Do not just grab 8 cards and let them pick two...

Its a good habit to have. Even if the randomness is only minorly affected by it...

Ardaedhel, what do you mean by "twice for XX-9's"?

XX9 Turbolasers are "Deal the first two cards Face up from this attack."

Dodonna Triggers his "Draw 4 cards and you pick one" whenever a face-up card is dealt to your opponent.

So if someone hits you hard with XX9 Turbolasers, and they are doing at least 2 hull points of damage, then they will trigger Dodonna twice.

Draw 4, Pick 1, for the first card, Draw 4, Pick 1, for the second card...

It is not Draw 8, Pick 2...
