We've known about the Gozanti (or a similar transport) being in TPM for a long time. However, the Gozanti we have is the one shown in the Rebels TV series, and FFG specifically stated that there were no plans for any prequel ships. They stated Galactic Civil war and later, so that is what we will get. In other words, no.

Well, if you want to get technical the Rebels did use the bananas at a few points..... But as nice as it would be to have another droid bearing ship I don't think this is the right one... For oh so many reasons.

What faction would you even put that in? Nope, many ships from that era simply don't work in this game. The closest would be Rebels, but that makes no sense.

The N-1 is clearly a Rebel ship. FFG would just invent another Rebel subfaction if they wanted to make sure this ship had an unquestionable entrance to the game. Something like "Freedom Fighters" might be a good name for a new Rebel subfaction for ships like this one, and they wouldn't have to justify what era they come from. Done. Package it. Get paid.

I wouldn't be opposed to the N1. The rebels got a reprieve in wave 8 with the ghost and the new X-wing, but they are still much more limited when it comes to unique, iconic ships compared to the other two factions.

The N1 would fill the niche between the Z-95 and the X-wing. 2 attack, 2 hull, 1 shield, 3 evade. Cheapest astromech carrier in the game. Give Leia a really cool support ability.

I think Wave 9 is your best bet. It is "done" per Alex Davey in a pod cast three weeks ago, and they are just now working on wave 10. based upon the Disney deal, they would have likely been in the initital development of Wave 9 when the mouse showed up. Wave 10? Probably new stuff and cartoon fodder.

Interesting build, I like the stats though I'd give Leia a higher PS and a different ability. Not all pilot abilities relate to their corresponding upgrade cards and that one I don't feel would work or balance well with this ship. Maybe PS 5 or 6 and "Once per round after you perform a focus or evade action or receive a focus or evade token you may assign one token of the same type to a friendly ship at range 1-2"

There isn't one ship out there right now that would be uglier than the naboo fighter with that shiny banana color scheme. At some point they will have to start scraping the bottom of the barrel for ships (or reboot the game), but please don't scrape any barrel from naboo. Hopefully starkiller blew that place up.

....When he was eight. They are actually pretty nimble ships and the thruster positions are ideal for sharp and sudden turns.
