Gozanti cruiser correction

By Aweber5, in X-Wing

Great work. Would love one of these. Is it beyond reason to think ffg would release one like this down the line?

It is, the differences are so minor and Disney is only going to market the "imperial refit" Gonzanti because of how prominently it was featured on Rebels.

I never knew the Gonzanti was in TPM, it looks pretty awesome!

Predating the clone wars! How dare they slip a prequel ship into this game!

Thanks again to Nowako41 for turning the engines and the docking port covers. You need to post your pics when you can.

Seeing this still is what cemented the need for the change. 2cwr2fl.jpg

It looks like this one has an "open mouth" though....

Ok I thought the original did, and you were going to fill it. My bad, carry on!

Awesome project.
It looks really cool.

Very cool indeed! Keep us posted how it goes :)

Nice work!

So there are many images out there of what the gozanti is supposed to look like, I love having it in the game, but I am far more a fan of this "body style"

This isn't all about a scum epic, it is a modification and form correction.

When Aweber showed me this picture at work I wanted in. I really like this design over what was released. Love the paint as well.

But it decaptitates astromechs, thats cruel!

So Naboo in Wave 9? My next thread: x-wing ships for sale. Dirt cheap coz this ain't pod racin', this is fightin'!

Not sure how that's a "correction".

You took an Imperial Gozanti and turned it into a C-ROC Gozanti. Which is cool, but they are two different ships. There's nothing that needs to be "corrected" about the Imperial Gozanti.

Actually this is a C-ROC. And as stated in the OP I just prefer this "body style".

Yep! AFAIK there are 3 body styles in the Gozanti series.

out of the three I like the Imperial one the most. Glad we got it.

The first part of the conversion was vastly the most nerve wracking, tearing apart your pretty new ship.

Also at this point I should give a shout out to Nowako41 for helping fabricating some of the parts used coming up.

Thanks for posting this! I wanted to crack it open to light it to match my Raider, but was having trouble telling where the seams ran.

Now I can see it's going to be a pisser, and I was just lucky with the simple, roomy Raider.

There's a video of a pro painter taking one apart.

Base coat of paint, and lower radar dish added. It is mounted on a magnet to remove for storage.

You can also stick it to an asteroid when I blow this ship into dust. :)

Got some color on the Gozanti

**** fine work mate.

I look forward to seeing the finished ship.

There is an older thread of someone who had scratch built a Gozanti well before the FFG version was even released.

Same model that you are converting this too.

I mention it as I thought you may be interested OP.

I would link it but Im not sure how to on my cellphone

Finally done. Let me know what you think.
