So there are many images out there of what the gozanti is supposed to look like, I love having it in the game, but I am far more a fan of this "body style"
This isn't all about a scum epic, it is a modification and form correction.

...edit: looking forward to seeing where this goes now...
Edited by FTS GeckoThe first part of the conversion was vastly the most nerve wracking, tearing apart your pretty new ship.
Also at this point I should give a shout out to Nowako41 for helping fabricating some of the parts used coming up.
My first goal and greatest irritation was the closed mouth, so that had to be fixed.
Looking better already
Next, chop off the offending wings....
A braver man than me.
Beginning to build up the back of the forward wing.
Continuing the build up
Framing the wing
Additional detailing....
Essentially a Gozanti without TIE racks.
The Gozanti is, believe it or not, orginally from TPM.
Test fitting the engine, designed by me, turned by Nowako41.
More to come in a few hours, easter family time.
Wow. This is looking great.
Seeing this still is what cemented the need for the change.
Additional detailing on the underside of the wings.
Added docking port covers.
Finally primer time...
Well this is where I'm at now. This represents about 3 weeks of working on this after work more often than not.
I'll be adding a few more details and updating accordingly.
Seeing this still is what cemented the need for the change.
It looks like this one has an "open mouth" though....
Well the Gozanti is a line of ships somewhat like the YT series - There are at least 3 known variants: the armed transport version (of which the Krayt's Honor is the most famous) - this looks like the version you are converting - used by Hutts (TPM & AOTC), Black Sun, Shadow Syndicate, and maybe the CIS (TCW); the Imperial version (could be refitted as a freighter or an escort carrier - Freighter 651 & Transport Ship 63378 - Rebels); the C-ROC version ( Broken Horn & Merchant One - Rebels). Of the 3 variants, only the C-ROC has a proper designation maybe the other 2 will eventually get one.
Great work. Would love one of these. Is it beyond reason to think ffg would release one like this down the line?

It is, the differences are so minor and Disney is only going to market the "imperial refit" Gonzanti because of how prominently it was featured on Rebels.
I never knew the Gonzanti was in TPM, it looks pretty awesome!
