I wanna ask: Can Repulsor Impact Field work on attack which kill an attached unit ?

ie: If I attach Repulsor Impact Field on Earth Castle Technician (1/1), when a unit attack him and kill him, can I reaction it to deal 2 damage to the attacker?

Repulsor Impact Field

Attach to an army unit. Limit 1 per unit.

Reaction: After attached unit damaged by an attack, deal 2 damage to the attacker.
