Is it just me, or is this a crashed Imperial Raider in Star Wars: The Force Awakens?

Yes, yes it is, my friend, the Raider is now cannon.

Raider was canon right away really since Lucasfilm helped create it.

I think we've gone through this before.

But the Raider isn't Canon yet.

Lucasfilm has a hand in SWTOR, The Lego TV Shows, FFG stuff, and other stuff. All of these things are still Legends technically.

Unless it appears in a TV Show (TCW or Rebels), Comic, Book, a few other things, or a Movie (as seen above), it isn't canon.

Looks like the Raider is finally canon now. I think it was also mentioned in Lost Stars, though it could have been using the word raider in a general sense in that book.

If that's a wrecked raider, and it sure looks like one. Then it's as canon as anything else you see in the movies. The fact that it's may not be named in the movie doesn't really change anything.

Id say it's a little tough to call that wreckage "definitely" an imperial raider but I do agree it does look like the aft section of one.

That chunk just below the possible raider kinda looks like the fore section of the original battle star Galacticia :-P

In my opinion, Kanan is the best of the new Marvel Star Wars comics. Just ended too. 12 issues total.

Gotta admit that I was almost convinced but comparing the model's thrusters with the wreck I'm less convinced. What's that large hexagonal structure round the main engine is just too prominent. And with some people saying that when the shot was in motion it looked like the side thuster was a different piece of wreckege rather than attached, it does tempt me towards it being something else. Especially with the prequel films love of random eastereggs and nonsense in the backgrounds.
