Hi!

I have Hangar-Bay tournament incoming in one month and I need to prepare two lists for it as most of you may know. I have come with:

Rebels (100/100):

Han + EU + Gunner + C3-PO + Title + VI

Poe Dameron + Predator + Autothrusters + R2-D2

Empire (100/100):

Whisper + VI + ACD + FCS + Recon Specialist

Howlrunner + Determination

2x Academy Pilot

1x Epsilon Squadron Pilot

For those two lists I still need to buy a Starviper for Autothrusters and if I won't need to buy anything else I can invest in Slave for VI on Poe or TIE Fighter to swap 2 APs and 1 ESP for 3 Obsidians.

Are those lists viable? Do they share any common and obvious weakness in current meta?

My expansions are: Blue Core, Red Core, Falcon, TIE Fighter, TIE Advanced, 1 Ywing (+ thing for adding another Gold), Most Wanted, X-Wing, TIE Phantom, TIE Defender, A-Wing, Ghost, B-Wing, Imperial Aces.

Any help most appreciated!

On your imperial list you are gonna want swarm tactics on Howl which means probably dropping recon off whisper

For you rebel list have you thought about this?

Han, EU, PTL, 3PO, Kanan, title

Doesn't Han lose too much punch that way? I feel like gunner is essential for him as in two ships list you always need to maximise damage output.

Han is already extremely accurate he has ability and focus

And what do you guys feel about a matchup with Imperial Aces then? Han won't get any mods on OL without gunner and Vader with VI will go after him if I don't have PS 11.

Yes Kanan helps with the PTL. He basically makes all your white moves a green. So that really opens up Hans dial and where he can be positioned.

Why not Engine Upgrade?

Because I have Lando....so I'm usually setting an evade from the title and then PTL for Lando and so far have beat the average and usually end up with 2 more tokens.

Also since you will be clearing stress thanks to Kanan you could drop 3PO for Kyle and be getting a focus every time.

That is all true but think of the action economy that you'll have with Han. Also with a turret based attack you don't have to worry about positioning to get a shot as often.
