Peasant Uprisings - question when 2 in play

By madmanmage, in Chaos in the Old World

Played an odd game that had back-to-back Plunged into Chaos and Peasant Uprisings.

Which brought up the question, with both "PU"s on the OW track what is the resistance modifier per peasant? Since each card states that "While this OW card remains in play, each peasant token on the board raises the resistance of the region it occupies by one" we played +2 per peasant. Slaanesh, who was about to dominate their way to victory, cried foul but to no avail as the other gods voted 2-1 against. There can be some unity among Chaos Gods if it suits them!

But man, those were some ornery peasants...

The rulebook states that things stack where they can, unless it makes no sense for them to do so (e.g. Field of Ectasy doesn't stack with itself - it's just the same effect twice)

So I'd agree that they would be +2 Resistance per peasant

Yes, +2 per peasant.

I'd also be in agreeance with this. Do remember tho, that peasants are relatively easy to beat up, so if this occurs, just go slaughter some miserable peons to reduce the place's resistance. Ok, if you're playing Khorne, you won't get your advance token, but more often than not, you'll have enough dice left over to whack some other player's followers!

Thanks - I was pretty sure but consensus (and finding the right part of the rules) helps.
