Hey guys! Tomorrow as of writing this, Athena Games will be hosting it's Store Championship on Sunday 26th March. Registration starts at 10am for those who are turning up to play. However you don't need to live in the Norwich or Norfolk area to watch as you can watch live on Twitch.tv at:

Hosted by commentators Elliot Baker, and Andy Jones, the show and tournament will commence at 10:30am and will broadcast until the last dice is rolled later that day and we have a winner. This is also the ultimate test of our set up in preparation for Regionals which will be held at Athena later in the year, so be sure to tune in for some X-Wing action.

Gutted I won't be able to come, hope you guys have a cracking day of it.

You guys really stepped up the quality on the twitch stream, was a pleasure to watch.

So the day ended on a fantastic high note, great finish as Owen Appleton takes the Athena Games Store Championship plaque and the first round bye at the regionals.

There were some great matches and moments throughout the day, a proton bomb dealt 'direct hit' to three Z-95's in one deployment. A Brobot mirror match went to a 100/100 draw. We saw Rage Tycho take Boba Fett past the halfway point, turning defeat into a modified win in the very last dice roll. We saw 1 heavily damaged T-70 turn the game around and destroy an untouched Airen Cracken, Jan, and got Corran Horn down to the last point of hull in one hell of a comeback. A squadron of Vader and 3 Tempest Sq. Pilots take on a punisher and two interceptor aces and some bombs to the face, and a masterful lesson in flying and predicting from the Palpshuttle and 'his boyz' in one match.

Also, in a shocking twist the Wolfpack/U-Boat/3 Contracted Scout list that made the top 8 was defeated when the game went to time. We were hoping to showcase that on the stream as we expected it to make it to the final.
