Scum, bringing the heat

I put this 100 point list together for a Store Championship tomorrow.

IG88-B > PTL, Mangler, Autothrusters

Dengar > PTL, Plasma Torpedoes, Guidance Chip

Binary Pilot (Z-95) > Concussion missiles, Guidance Chip

The point is to try to do serious damage at range 3 in the opening volley. Any advice is much appreciated!

OK, so I flew this list in our local Store Championship today and here's what happened. I did pretty well but took a loss to Mr. Paul Heaver himself so...

...Anyway, here's the deal with this list. It does have bite to it but you need to fire your ordinance off early. That's the point - strike hard and fast from range 3 and try to pick off a ship or two before they close in. At this point, I REALLY do not think that the Dengar title is worth the extra points. It's a nifty idea to shoot back at someone in defence after being shot at but none of my opponents would even shoot at Dengar until they were out of his main firing arc. I think that dropping down to the lowest cost Punishing One ship and adding Extra Munitions on it is a much more viable option.

Other than that, it was fun. I'd recommend the modified list that I just explained, if you want to take the new Scum ships for a test run.
