Hi there! Trying to flesh out a wing(wo)man to a kitted Dengar. He's at 55 and I'm having a very hard time trimming anything from him. Unhinged, EU, PO, PTL. So I want to fly Kath with him cause she looks like she could dish out some serious damage and allow Dengar to do his fun stuff while holding the chase. I need her at 45 points, what do you recommend?

Evade + Gonk every turn (after storing a few shields early game) makes her surprisingly tanky, especially with Wired re-rolls. Damps can help keep the Butt Gun™ pointed at the enemy (with Wired active).

How about kath with VI, 4-LOM, and Glitterstim. You could sub out Glitterstim for EU.

Does it have to be Kath?

You can do the same with Boba, lose Dampeners and get R1 re-rolls for extra tankiness and more effective offense at +1 PS.

Those points don't add up. It's 53pts as you've listed him. If you're using K4 droid, and I suspect you of it, then it's really 56pts. What's it gonna be? Answer me!! /backhand

I would do:

Dengar: title, PTL, K4, Unhinged

Kath: EU, PTL, K4

I've cheated a bit and moved Dengar's EU onto Kath but I think she needs it more! Dengar can do all sorts of naughty things with just the BR and the dial and it isn't often that you really NEED the engine upgrade. Kath on the other hand lives and dies by boosting.

Edit: although swapping out Dengar for Tel with the above equipment saves you enough points for a Hull upgrade. And you can put Dengar crew instead of K4 on one of them. And they're both 7s. That's a fun list too!

Oh don't get me started on Tel + Kath lists...

Ya I decided that Kath was too expensive to really kit her out in a way that's effective. She wants engine upgrade, VI and K4 so she can reposition the butt gun. I think i'm gonna try a Mandalorion Merc at some point. Mandlorian Merc with Boba Fett Crew, Predator, and mangler cannon is a pretty cheap platform to deliver Boba with at 43 points.

Ah yes sorry! I had gonk on Dengar, think I coooould drop gonk and have an extra 2 points for Kath.

Won a four game store champs yesterday with:

Dengar, PTL, Engine, Title, Unhinged astro, Gonk and Kath with engine, veteran instincts, tactician...

Originally had tractor Beam and 4.Lom, on Kath, had to switch due to the new faq not being used yet ..

Thankfully no, the closest list there was two scouts and trando slaver (that I didn't face)
