Scum Swarm Feedback needed

Seems like scum swarms don't have as many options as Imperials/Rebels. Strategy here was versatility, potentially deal some early alpha critical blows to large ships or Feedback Arrays for Aces. Target Locks are obviously key, hence the Thread tracers. If you were to run this, how would you set a starting formation? 4 front 4 behind? two sets of 4 split? Corners or middle? Parallel start or face forward? Want to become a Scum Swarm representative, all feedback is really appreciated!

Feedback is definitely very good on Scum swarms.

I don't think that Advanced Homing Missiles are going to give you a good alpha strike. They can be nasty against low-HP targets, but those are the most likely to dodge a 3-dice attack or two, or just dodge out of arc. And that's ignoring the AHM's Range-2-only restriction. And against low-agility targets, the best-case scenario is 4 face-up damage. If that's not enough to kill them, then you still have to chew through their shields to finish them off.

I'd recommend dropping the Feedback Arrays from the Tracer Pirates, and upgrade the AHM's on the others to Concussion Missiles. The Tracer carriers are going to be your opponent's first targets anyway, so it's probably unwise to invest points in assuming they'll make it past the first engagement. Ideally, your alpha strike will be enough to kill their beefiest target, and your Feedback mini-swarm can clean up whatever's left.

Its alpha strike is less reliable in comparison to the equivalent Rebel swarm, since it doesn't have a Blount to guarantee that a Tracer shot sticks. But if you can pull off a successful alpha strike, the Scum swarm should have a better late game.

funny thing is that the main trait merc swarm has is used in the thread title, but why missiles? take lone cluster glitter-suhlak and 5 black sun feedback lovers

and watch the world burn! Ndru has extraordinary damage output, making him a one-time wonder flanker, once he DERPed a Y-wing in a volley. and that was WITHOUT chips involved.

why PS3 instead of PS1?

In my opinion best scum swarm is 5 x kirhaz, z-95 swarms come second best, as new alpha strike lists can leave you without half of your fleet in first turn before you even get to shoot
