Question about tables.

By killakan, in X-Wing

I went to a yard sale and was on the look out for card tables, gf points were earned as well! Got two for a dollar each and then followed the directions that were posted to this forum a couple weeks ago. Basically got two 4x3 pieces of plywood and mounted them on top and felted them. Total cost 15$ a table and was completed in one day. The fold away very nicely as well.

Until I bought my new dining room table, only requirement was that it had to be at least 3 feet across, I used a folding table that was 29" across. It really taught me spacial relations in terms of maneuvering and first round firing was possible which kept my son interested, since rolling dice is one of his favorite parts of the game. Like others have said, don't be afraid to use what you have.

You could always get a table from Geek Chic, I hear the sultan is reasonably priced....

...for a small car.

Actually, forget small. A Subaru Forester is only slightly more expensive than that table...
